PT Scenario Back Story: You are laying on the ground on your back with your face pointing straight up at the sky.  You are unresponsive.

PT Exam Your caregiver should perform a Primary Assessment. 

If the Caregiver does not open your airway and look for objects in your mouth (or verbalizes “I am opening your mouth and looking inside for objects in your mouth) – then sometime during the Primary Assessment begin to act like you are choking or having breathing problems.  If the caregiver realizes their mistake, then you can return to normal breathing.

When the caregiver has completed the Primary Assessment provide you caregiver feedback. Did they miss any steps?
