Sierra Club Leaders – Wilderness First Aid Certification
Online Virtual instructor Lead Training and traditional two-day onsite WFA training opportunities.
The School of First Aid Wilderness First Aid Certification course is designed specifically to provide Sierra Club Leaders with the skills and knowledge to care for illnesses and injuries in remote environments when EMS is not minutes away.

When you register for a course, we will donate $10 to your local or state Sierra Club Chapter.
This course meets Sierra Club requirements for WFA training, is approved by the Boy Scouts of America and is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA) under the ACA’s standard “HW.2.2/ST.3.2 First Aid & Emergency Care Personnel.”

Virtual Instructor Led Training – Two Day Virtual WFA Certification Course

Wilderness First Aid Course – Saturday and Sunday. 9 AM to 5 PM. Course description and registration.
Two Day, Onsite Wilderness First Aid Certification Courses
- February 20 – 21, 2021 – Eastern Kentucky University. Richmond, KY
Wilderness First Aid Certification Course. – Saturday and Sunday, February 20 – 21, 2021. Course description and registration.
One Day, Blended Learning Wilderness First Aid Courses. All lectures, graded quizzes and practice scenarios online. Take your time to complete the classroom training and upon successful completion of the online portion, you will receive a completion certificate. Sign up for an Onsite Skills Assessment, bring your completion certificate and spend a day practicing and demonstrating your Wilderness First Aid skills. Upon successful completion of the skills assessment, you will receive an internationally recognized, two year Wilderness First Aid certification.
